My story

Coaching approaches have been part of my professional life, although I was not aware in the past that I was using them.

 

As an English teacher, I was working with corporate and individual clients, negotiating what they needed from the course and how to best work together so my clients could reach their goals quicker. Then, after parental leave, I started teaching at one of the private IB grammar schools in Prague, mostly working with older teenagers. Coaching approaches have worked very well with this age group. ​​​​​​​

When I felt I needed change, I conducted a personal audit with one goal on my mind: to identify which parts of my current job are making me happy. The result of this self-reflection was that I could see and be part of my students progress and have meaningful conversations with them. So, I decided to enroll in an ICF accredited professional coaching course, which I successfully finished in June 2024.

 

Presently, I am continuing my education in coaching, and I am aiming for the international ACC certificate.
